Film director Oliver Stone reminded the former President Nestor Kirchner to a message broadcast by the channel as the Casa Rosada is on YouTube, a month after his death.

"He was a statesman, wise, passionate and firm in their ability to get rid of the IMF," says American filmmaker who interviewed Kirchner for his film "South of the border."

"In 2002, when Argentina's economy was considered a chaos, a black hole which would never recover, recovered, and he challenged the conventional authorities in their thinking. That's what leaders do," he adds.

Later, Nestor Kirchner said that "gave birth to a movement that renewed optimism in Argentina and Cristina Kirchner, his wife, gave Argentina another leader."

"I'll miss Nestor was a special man," concludes Stone.
