The Club Atlético Calchín to Enhance Facilities and Resources with the Donation

On August 2, 2024, Julián Álvarez made a significant contribution by donating his Bancor scholarship money to Club Atlético Calchín, the club where he began his journey. This extraordinary stimulus, provided by the Province through Bancor and the Agencia Córdoba Deportes, is aimed at recognizing the athletes who participated in the Olympic Games.

The Club Atlético Calchín plans to use these funds to upgrade its facilities, improve resources, and provide better tools for its athletes. Members of the Agencia Córdoba Deportes board, led by President Agustín Calleri, visited the club located in the homonymous locality of the Río Segundo department.

During their visit, they handed over a donation of one and a half million pesos. This amount, donated by Julián Álvarez, was awarded by the Government of the Province of Córdoba to all athletes participating in the Olympic Games.

This extraordinary stimulus, given by the provincial government through Bancor and the Agencia Córdoba Deportes, acknowledges the merit of Córdoba athletes who qualified for the highest global competition.

The funds will enable Club Atlético Calchín to enhance its facilities and resources, provide better tools for its athletes, and continue being a cornerstone in the development of children and young people in the Córdoba locality.

During the visit, the attendees took the opportunity to exchange ideas and projects with the club's authorities, as well as to understand the reality of this sports institution up close.

The club's directors expressed their gratitude to Julián Álvarez, emphasizing the positive impact of his gesture on the Calchín community.

This generous act by the Córdoba footballer not only represents financial support but also acknowledges the effort and dedication of all members of the club that nurtured him from the beginning.
