This morning began the allegations in the trial of Jorge Rafael Videla's repressive and Luciano Benjamin Menendez accused of committing crimes against humanity during the last military dictatorship.

It was the plaintiff lawyer, Mary Elba Martinez, who began today at the stage of the allegations in the process that follows the oppressors, along with 29 other defendants. All are being tried for "imposition of aggravated torture, murder, cover-up and enforcement of torture followed by death."

The allegation of Martinez, the Federal Court 1 (TOF1) opened the hearing by number 53 which also will do likewise one of the plaintiffs lawyers, Hugo Vaca Narvaja, in relation to the facts relating to crimes of "unlawful deprivation of aggravated freedom and imposition of aggravated torture "against a civilian and five former police officers of the former Department of Police Information.

Both lawyers representing relatives of 13 of the 37 victims who added the two files that have accumulated for this process of trial began on 2 July.

In the case of "UP1 or Videla" is deemed the death of 31 political prisoners by the application of the Law on Leaks, who were staying at the San Martin Correctional Unit (UP1) in the city of Cordoba, and crimes which respond defendants are "imposing aggravated torture, murder, cover-up and enforcement of torture followed by death."

In another case the facts have to do with the crimes of "illegal deprivation of liberty and imposition of aggravated aggravated torture" against a civilian and five former police officers of the former Department of Police Information (D2).
